Robin Rosendale LMHC, is a licensed psychotherapist and an internationally certified Jungian Analyst in private practice.  His therapeutic approach integrates his interest in C.G. Jung, Relational Psychoanalysis, and Buddhism.  Prior to his psychoanalytic training at the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association, Robin completed his graduate training at Naropa University, where his degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy provided an in-depth study of Buddhist psychological principles and western clinical psychology.

Robin’s approach honors both the personal and transpersonal aspects of psyche – as such, he views the art of psychotherapy as a collaborative extension of the contemplative process. With mindful investigation, his method explores not only past history and personal traumas, but it also looks towards future development: asking the question – how might our dreams, behaviors, symptoms, and even suffering be pointing us towards the possibility of further psychic integration and wholeness. From this perspective, pain and suffering are an inevitable and essential part of being human. To the extent that we effort to avoid this truth and therefore fail to faithfully meet our suffering, we simply make more of it. Robin’s approach cultivates the requisite attitude, understanding, and skills needed to face our difficulties so that its specific expression can be seen not as something to avoid, but as a necessary ingredient to our psychological and spiritual maturation.

Robin’s many years of experience has provided him the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people experiencing a wide range of difficulties. In addition, his work in the LGBTQ community has provided extensive experience in working with people who identify as transgender and gender non-conforming. Robin’s areas of expertise include:
